WIWT 4/5
The temperature dropped a good bit overnight. It’s a cool spring morning with a lot of moisture in the air. I’m glad, since it gave me a chance to wear one of my very favorite jackets one last time before the warm weather completely takes hold.
I love this light gray knit tie. It’s perfect for bucking the convention of wearing a tie that’s darker than your shirt. Gray can do amazing things.
In other news, Joe Wilper, my creative comrade just jetted off for a two week European odyssey. He’s going to have much more interesting things to photograph, which means I’m back to crappy iPhone photos for a while. On top of that, I don’t know with whom to share all the weird links, memes and goofy pictures I’m sure to find over the next two weeks.
Hurry back, Mr. Wilper.
Meermin Shoes 5x - My favorites
The blog Die, Workwear! has previously written about Meermin, a Spanish shoe producer focusing on budget shoes, while maintaining high quality. They have recently launched their website where you can order their shoes(prices range from 150€ to 250€). In other words, I believe Meermin is great for those of you on a budget, looking for attractive yet well made shoes on a lower price point. I particularly like their double monk strap in suede, with its rubber sole it can be used all-year-round.
To order yourself a pair, simply send them an E-mail through their contact form.
